Tabernacle Chalice

All tabernacles measure: 26×28 depth 23 cm.
Internally: 22.5×22.5 depth 18 cm.

The cup was used from the early days of Christianity to consecrate wine during the Eucharistic Liturgy. On a symbolic level it expresses the shedding of blood, the communion between Christians and with God, the joy of the celebration for Christ's victory over death.
